Darlene's Story

Darlene and her littermates, Rosie and Jackie, were dumped in a feral colony. Fortunately the caregiver rescued them from that life!<br/>Darlene is the most shy of the trio. She loves to climb and play! She would love for the trio to be adopted together! ;) They love to lounge all together in their hammock and are very bonded!<br/>Darlene (about 1 year old) is spayed, vaccinated, and tested Negative for FeLV & FIV. She has no dog or child experience at this point.

The Isle of Wight County Humane Society does in-person interviews to be approved as a home. There is no paper application to fill out before an adoption event. We reserve the right to approve or deny a prospective adopter based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. We are an all volunteer foster based rescue and we do not operate a physical shelter or have business hours.. Our adoption events are the best way to meet our pets and be interviewed.
