Daredevil's Story

My name is Daredevil!
I'm so excited for my new home I can't stop talking to my foster mom about it!
I'm a very big, sweet, and vocal fellow. I am also very easy to please as long as you let me do a lot of the talking in our relationship😂
I really like to climb and explore on the cat shelves in my foster home. But I also love a good nap in the sun.
I got my name Daredevil because one night, my foster mom left her front door open to feed her colony cats, and as she turned around to go back inside, she found that I had walked right into her warm house!
There's nothing that I am afraid of (unlike the other kitties I'm not even afraid of the vacuum)!
In case you can't tell from my big chipmunk cheeks - I am FIV+.
What that means is that I will require more vet checkups. I can still live with other cats even if they're FIV- because it is a virus that affects my immune system and is primarily only passed via deep bite wounds. But I'm a lover, not a fighter - I am such a sweet boy and I've gotten along great with my foster mom's cats!
FIV+ will entail regular checkups and monitoring for infections that I'll be more prone to, but I can still live a long, healthy life! Management & nutrition are the most important parts of keeping an FIV+ cat healthy.
I get along great with dogs (as long as I'm introduced properly), other cats (I would really like a friend), and kids.
