All kittens under 12 months will only be adopted into homes that either have other kittens/cats (if it's a cat, it must be young/active enough to interact with the kitten) or the adopter must adopt two kittens (or a kitten and a young cat). NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!</b><br><br><br/><br/><b>Dare</b> is a six to seven week old blue persian mix kitten. He has his momma's doll face and will be an exotic shorthair. Dare came into rescue with his mother (Adora) and littermates - they were found taped inside a box, which was sitting beside a dumpster! In spite of almost suffering a terrible fate, all of these babies are extremely people oriented, very outgoing, extremely affectionate, and very energetic! All of them are just wonderful babies. <br><br><br/><br/>The kittens are approximately seven weeks old (as of 8-15-07) - we do not separated mommas and babies until the kittens are 12-16 weeks of age. And they will be spayed/neutered prior to going to their forever homes. But if you are interested in adopting one or more of these babies, we will do pre-adoptions and deposits to "hold" the kitten for you until they are ready to do home. <i><b>Please note: deposits are ONLY refundable if the kitten becomes unadoptable for some reason, if you change your mind, the deposit is forfeit.</i></b> <i>Adoption donation - $200 (deposit $100).</i> <B>Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.</b><br><br><b>Who We Are: </b>We are a not-for-profit organization who is committed to helping Persians, Himalayans, exotic shorthairs, and ragdolls. All of our expenses are funded by personal and private donations. All of our cats are kept in foster homes - <i>please note, we do not have a shelter facility, so appointments must be made prior to visiting foster homes</i>. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br><br><b>Adoption Process: </b>We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.<br><br><b>Adoption Fees: </b>Our adoption fees are as follows: adults (over a year of age) $150, seniors (over 9 years of age) $75, kittens (depending on breed, age, and gender) $175 to $250 . We occasionally have reduced fees - these will be noted on the individual cat's listing. If someone adopts more then one cat from us, we will reduce the adoption fees by $50 to $100 (depending on age of cats/kittens adopted).
