Dara's Story

Dara is a sweet boy who was found in a storm drain on Mother's Day weekend. After being trapped by a kind person, Dara made his way to Heartland. Originally thought to be a girl (oops), Dara was brought in to grow up with Diana and all of her kittens, Dara quickly fit in and was quickly playing and snuggling with his new found siblings and mom.Dara is a little on the shy side to start, but he quickly warms up to people. He loves to be petted and is good with being held and snuggled. Dara sometimes spooks at loud noises but he quickly returns to where he was and resumes playing. Dara will need a kitty friend to help him burn off energy.

Cat adoptions are by appointment and are conducted at the O'Fallon & Wentzville Petsmart stores or at the Whisker Station Cat Cafe in Kirkwood. Dog adoptions are by appointment. Interested parties may fill out an adoption application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/58117/generic In order to be considered for an adoption you must: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household. Have a landlord's name and phone number if you rent. Understand that Heartland Humane Society must approve your application.
