This attractive three-year-old fellow is a large boy of solid muscle, weighing in at just over 19 pounds, having the characteristics and appearance of a Main Coon. Dapper is friendly, gentle, easy going with his humans and cat friends in his foster home. A total lap cat and certified cuddler, Dapper is looking for a lap to call his own! Theres not one ounce of aggression in this well put together gentleman. Dapper is like a dog who will follow you around chatting, trilling, conversing - you name it, hes ready to banter back. He loves his meals, especially wet food, where hell bellow and babble on until served. Needless to say, Dapper loves to talk! Windows are a must! Dapper enjoys spying on everything and anything going on outside. All he needs is a pair of binoculars to get a better view. Dapper likes to nap and sleep on the bed, many times belly up near you, but not on you, so you can rest comfortably! Even when hes sleeping, say his name and hell respond with a short trill. Dapper tries to play, but is not quite sure and is jerky with movements then runs away playfully. He gravitates to cat nip pillows to bat around and sometimes balls to toss around, but not for long, and hell entertain a round of wand playing. Hes got a goofy and clumsy energy to him. True to his stature, his paws are big, heavy and thud on the floor youll always know when hes coming! Dapper enjoys the tender moments of being pet and brushed he has no issue being picked up either. Dapper would love to have someone home a lot to keep him company and share a lap with.

Dapper is FIV+, but dont let that stop you from meeting this handsome love bug. FIV is only transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds, and this gentle giant isnt interested in hurting anyone. It is not contagious to humans in any way. Dapper gets along very well with other cats and adapts easily to new environments. Hed likely enjoy a calm feline companion with a similar temperament and energy level. Cats with FIV require quality nutrition and indoors only is a must.

With his giant paws, goofy charm and endless commentary, Dapper is the kind of cat who quickly becomes the center of your home. If youre looking for a loyal companion, expert cuddler, and delightfully chatty best friend, Dapper is ready to thud right into your life and make himself at home.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
