Daphne's Story

Hi, my name is Daphne. I’m a shy girl with a flirtatious side. I’ll tilt my head and give you a “come hither” look to get you to come play with me. I was born in April of 2023 and lived the first few months outside with my mom. It was a pretty hard life. I did ok because my mom made sure she provided for me. There was a nice man who fed my mom and when I was weaned he took me “inside” to live with him. My mom didn’t like “inside” so she stayed outside. The nice man got mama fixed so she wouldn’t have any more babies and he always put food out for her. I liked being “inside “ and never want to go back outside ever again! Sadly, after a few months the nice man told me he had to leave the country and couldn’t take me. He gave me to a nice lady who promised to find me a good home and to keep feeding mama . I lived with her for a while and she brought me into the rescue, where I got spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped- and now I’m ready for my forever home. I’ll need a little patience at first, while I get comfortable with you and with my new surroundings. It’s probably best to keep me in a small space like a bathroom at first so I can get used to you and not be scared. Once I get used to you I am very affectionate and purr like crazy. If adopted separately, Daphne or Archie would likely benefit from a friendly feline buddy to help boost their confidence, share nap schedules, enjoy bird-watching duty, and show them the ropes — like where the best sunny spots are and how to get treats.
I'm up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $180

.
