Dandelion's Story

One winter day, a stray cat moved into a nice couple's home, and they sought a rescue to help her,,, and shortly after, she gave birth to Dandelion and his siblings (Aster, Thistle, Yarrow, Marigold, and Lily - check out their profiles by clicking our rescue's PetFinder page!), so it was just in time! Thanks to Jasmine being a great mom who welcomed human affection once she settled in, her kittens were able to stay together and with their mom until they were well-socialized and ready for life without her. Now, these little ones are ready for their new homes!

Dandelion is the shy one from his group, but he’s a very sweet and affectionate with the people he knows! He loves his cat family and while he may shy away from strangers, he’s truly a wonderful boy. When he's not playing, you can often find him curling up in a cozy spot, giving sweet little purrs as he falls asleep.

Dandelion is 1 year old and is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV. He would likely do best if adopted with his brother Yarrow or into a home with another young and playful cat. We offer a small discount on adoption fees if adopting a pair together. He has not been exposed to dogs, but would likely do okay with a calm, cat-friendly dog after appropriate introductions.

Interested in meeting Dandelion?
