Dan is the perfect cat for someone who appreciates an enemies-to-lovers kind of story! When he's scared, he sometimes resorts to hissing and backing away from whatever is causing him stress. Sometimes, that's people. If people move slowly, speak softly, and give him time to warm up at his own pace, he is incredibly sweet. He's befriended multiple strangers with relative ease. He loves his foster and will roll around for pets and purr up a storm. He'll require a little bonding to befriend his person, but once he does, his love runs deeply and he loves to spend time with his person. He's playful and LOVES treats so his person will be able to bond with him through play and food. He's a super sweet guy behind the wall he sometimes puts up around himself. He'd appreciate having a cat friend in his new home! While Dan is quite shy, he's also very intelligent and thoughtful. He solves puzzles quickly and is self-sufficient and independent when he needs or wants something. His foster home has dogs and cats and he doesn't seem particularly bothered by either of them. <br/><br/>Dan came from a resort where his parents were abandoned. Luckily, someone noticed and began caring for Dan and his mom. When Dan was 12 weeks old, he came to live with a Kindred Spirits Rescue foster with his 3 siblings. Unfortunately, an unknown illness took the lives of 2 of his siblings. The vet we brought Dan's siblings to was puzzled about what kind of illness they were experiencing. Dan seems to be healthy and has had a vet examine him. No issues were found and he seems to be a healthy and normal little guy. <br/><br/>Dan is about 4 months old. He's neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and has been dewormed.
