Dan's Story

Dan is a tiny triumph of a kitten—born the runt, rescued at four weeks old at half the size of his siblings, and determined from day one to catch up. He’s still small for his age, but he’s an over comer through and through, gaining weight, building muscle, and proving that heart matters more than size.

His fur is light, sparse, and adorably wispy, with little polka dots on his tummy and a short, nubby tail that gives him a uniquely charming look. Despite his petite frame, Dan is bold—almost fearless—happily taking on his much larger siblings in play battles and usually winning through sheer enthusiasm.

He’s a precious, sweet little party waiting to happen: vocal, lively, and full of personality. When he’s not entertaining everyone, he loves nothing more than snuggling close and falling asleep on his person, purring himself into a warm, contented nap.

Dan is well socialized and gets along beautifully with his foster family’s three adult cats. He’d be a wonderful fit for a home that appreciates a tiny kitten with a huge spirit and an even bigger heart.

Ready for adoption now! Dan is ready to find his forever family. Kittens do best when raised with another kitten or young cat. Our kittens’ new homes must have at least one other young cat or kitten. All of our kittens are indoor only cats.

Dan is litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines for his age.

If you are interested in adopting Dan, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
