Previously considered semi-feral, Damian has made incredible growth in the care of our loving volunteers! Formerly a dark shadow that would swat and hiss, Damian now allows volunteers to reach towards him without any pushback. Over time, he has realized that we have nothing but warm intentions.<br/><br/>Damian has overcome his battle wounds and the sadness he carried in his eyes has softened. Damian loves both dry and wet food - he is far from picky! We believe his turnaround began when he realized that food was an acceptable exchange for allowing us to approach him. <br/><br/>Nowadays, Damian can be found cuddled in a warm blanket or bed. He is curious about playing with toys and takes cues from more confident cats. His eyes are full of interest, and his adorably full cheeks make everyone go, “Awww!”.
