Dale's Story

A gentle, kitten-like soul with a heart full of love, 2yo Dale will make a constant, comforting and loyal friend. He is a charmingly good-natured and friendly boy who may take a moment to adjust to new people, but promises to be a loyal companion once he feels secure. He is also very playful, funny and clever and quickly solves treat puzzles and enjoys his interactive game toy as can be seen in the videos that accompany the photos above

Dale likes to be in close proximity to his people, shadowing you around the home, even sharing your sleep space, but not your lap. He is deeply affectionate, and although his preference is to keep four paws on the ground, he expresses fondness by giving love (head) butts and great purring. Dale loves playtime, especially chasing and retrieving balls, applesauce squeeze caps, and crinkly toys.

He is a chatty boy, meowing his hellos in 'cat-to-human' conversation. Dale does not have a go-to spot as he's game to relax anywhere; but, does look forward to Churu's and meal time, his favorite time of day! Because he loves humans so much and is a young, curious lad, Dale will do best in a home, as a solo pet, with an experienced cat guardian who is around often to shower him with the attention he craves.

If you are ready to make Dale a joyful addition to your home, complete an adoption application at pawswakefieldma.org and we'll reach out to arrange introductions.
