Behind that serious face is a very affectionate girl who loves climbing into your lap for pets and attention!<br/><br/>Dakota can be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality comes shining through. She's currently keeping a close eye on things while making biscuits, so clearly she takes her supervisory duties very seriously. <br/><br/>Dakota came to FCHSMO in April with a broken pelvis and spent months on strict cage rest while she healed. She has come such a long way and is doing very well! <br/><br/>She loves finding a high perch where she can watch the world around her. Because of her past injury, she can sometimes be a little unsure about jumping back down, so she appreciates having an easier way to get back to the floor.<br/><br/>After everything Dakota has been through, she's ready to trade cage rest for couch time, lap snuggles, and a forever family of her own. <br/><br/>Come meet Dakota and discover the sweet girl hiding behind that serious little face!
