Dakota's Story
Hi, my name is Dakota and I am 2 years old. My people could not keep me any longer, so I was put outside, where I went in search of food.

The kind people who found me called Beltsville Community Cats (BCC), who quickly took me in. A kind volunteer took me to the vet, where I was spayed (ouch!), got my shots and a microchip. Then it was on to a foster home, where I feasted on cat food, kibble and treats. After all that excitement, I took a long nap!

My foster parents try not to step on me, but I love to rub against their legs. I am hoping they will sit down because I hop right up on their lap and purr while they pat me. Not all cats do that!

They say I am a very friendly kitty, and I hope some fortunate person will adopt me and give me a fur-ever home. I have lots of love and purrs to give, and I am ready to find my special person.

If you are interested in adopting please visit the link below to fill out our adoption application via Shelterluv.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BCC/Cat

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us.

BCC does not have a shelter or storefront. All of our kittens and cats are located in the homes of our volunteers until they are adopted.
