Daisy May's Story

***Daisy May is a young, playful cat, and would do well with another equally social cat in her forever home.

Daisy May was left to fend for herself in a rural area populated by people and predators, wandering in unknown territory trying to survive. Obviously cautious, she braved a barn feed station and before long, was welcoming the feeder’s endless chatter and newfound company. The minute she lets her guard down and realized she was safe, her sweet personality emerged.

Daisy May loves affection and gives affection. She’ll stretch up to give nose boops and chin kisses, curl up in your arms for head rubs and air kneading, splay across your lap for full body pets and belly rubs, all the while being very careful not to use her nails.

She doesn’t prefer men or women and a quick introduction was all it took for her to make new friends. With a slow introduction, she would do well with other cats or dogs, as she was already accepting the foster’s furry beasts!

Daisy May is a bit clingy and underfoot at the moment, as she has only spend a short time in foster and needs the constant reassurance of human presence. But once she feels secure in her new home, that will let up. She has started to play with toys but doesn’t stray far, and checks back frequently to make sure you’re still there. She is good in her carrier and will even go in it to sleep during the day.

Daisy May is such a sweetheart, she is really going to be a great new addition to any family!

Would you like to make Daisy May a part of your family?
