She enjoys exploring her surroundings, is comfortable sharing her space with other cats, and has even learned that cat-friendly dogs can make perfectly acceptable roommates after a little time to get acquainted.<br/><br/>With her silky-soft coat and gentle, easygoing personality, Daisy is the kind of girl who settles in nicely once she's had a chance to learn her new surroundings. She hasn't lived with children, but given her adaptable nature, we think she could fit well into many different types of homes with a proper introduction and a little patience.<br/><br/>Daisy's story began at an apartment complex in Mississippi, where she was living outdoors as part of a colony of about a dozen cats. The property owner reached out to our Southern team for help getting everyone spayed and neutered before a dozen cats became many, many more.<br/><br/>Some members of the colony were happiest returning to the outdoor lives they knew. But Daisy showed us that her future belonged inside. She adjusted easily to foster life and made it pretty clear she was ready to leave her days as a colony cat behind.<br/><br/>Now we've reached the best part of Daisy's story — the part where she finds a family of her own. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a beautiful, curious, sweet-natured girl who's ready to trade her Mississippi beginnings for a lifetime of indoor comforts, Daisy just might be the one. <br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
