DAISY's Story

DAISY is a shy, reserved, TUXEDO MUNCHKIN that is 2 years old. She has been spayed, and has large Gold eyes. She has all of her claws and is just over 6 pounds. Daisy has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.

Daisy came to us from a breeder that was no longer able to care for her cats. She is very shy and will need a patient owner that will allow her to get used to life in her own home and come to them on her terms.

While Daisy has lived with other cats, it is thought that she will thrive in a home of her own where she is doted on by her people. She loves wet and dry food and churus, and has been 100% in her litter box- although she does love to dig and will need a box with higher sides to keep the liter in the box. She even manages to throw litter out of the robot. That being said, she uses the robot with no problem!

Daisy has been a very quiet cat. She tends to stay in her corner of the room, not really interacting much with the other kitty in the room. She will do best in a quiet home without all the hustle and bustle that comes with a multi animal home or with children in the home and with her person home more than away. Her preferred home would have some experience with shy cats. No other animals are preferred and no children, those homes are just going to be too busy for her.

ADOPTION FEE $150. Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
