Daisy's Story

*** Daisy is in a foster home. ***

Daisy #19923: brown tabby & white, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 7/1/21

Cats: no, solo kitty
Dogs: unknown / probably not
Children: teens+

BACKGROUND: When Daisy’s guardian had to move into assisted living, she was thankfully able to go with her beloved person. But when her guardian passed away, Daisy found herself in need of a new loving home.

PERSONALITY: Daisy is a very sweet and calm kitty even though she is still a young cat. She likes to chase an automated laser toy and play with a feather wand between naps. Daisy will lie on your lap and purr, enjoying the attention and generously expressing her affection in return. She does appreciate when people will let her choose to come get on your lap rather than being grabbed at, and allows pick-ups when done slowly and gently. Daisy is such a love and an excellent companion.

COMPATIBILITY: Daisy doesn’t want to live with other cats. While we have not seen her around dogs, we suspect that her ideal home is one where she is the only fur-child. Daisy likes interactions to be on her terms and would prefer not to live with younger children; respectful teens should be fine.

Daisy lost her first special person, but she has not closed off her heart... it is wide open and ready to forge a new loving human-kitty bond. Will you be the lucky human half?
