Look at Daisy. She's a little hard to see in her hiding spot. Daisy is trying to disappear.<br/>And honestly, we can't blame her.<br/>5 year old, Daisy came to us after her mom entered a nursing home, and suddenly everything she knew was gone. The shelter's noise, activity, and unfamiliar faces are overwhelming for this shy girl. Here, she spends much of her time trying to make herself as small and invisible as possible.<br/>But this isn't the Daisy her family knew. At home, she was a sweet, cuddly girl. We believe that girl is still in there, she just needs a quiet place and someone patient enough to let her find her way back out. <br/>Daisy loves Temptations treats and toy mice filled with catnip, and she may enjoy living with another cat after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She would do best without young children or dogs.<br/>Daisy doesn't need someone to "fix" her. She needs someone willing to give her time, peace, patience, and a safe place to decompress.<br/>We know there's a happy, affectionate Daisy waiting to come back out. She just needs the right person to give her the chance.
