Daisy's Story
Meet Daisy, the sweetest little heart-stealer full of love and personality! This 15-week old lovebug adores being held and will happily melt into your arms or climb into your lap for cuddles and purrs. When playtime calls, her playful and curious side shines whether she's chasing toys or her siblings. Daisy has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH or wobbly cat syndrome) which makes her a bit clumsy and unsteady on her feet, so no two playtimes are alike! Daisy has the perfect balance of energy and calm, making her a wonderful companion for cozy naps and fun-filled adventures alike. Daisy grew up with her siblings and would love to be adopted to a home with another cat friend. If you're looking for a loving little friend who is equal parts loving and fun, Daisy is ready to curl up in your heart and your home.

Because of her CH, Daisy would benefit from accommodations such as low-sided litter boxes, textured or non-slip flooring, a raised food and water dish, and possibly some ramps to get up and down from higher spots. CH is a non-progressive (it won't get worse over time) neurological condition where the cerebellum (the part of the brain controlling coordination and balance) is not fully developed. It's not painful or contagious.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons.

South County Cats is an all-volunteer, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Some kittens come from rescue situations and are not suitable for young children. Most kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten. Please see our Adoption Policies at http://www.southcountycats.org/scc-adoption-policies where you can also find our Adoption Application. Please ask us about our policies if you have questions.

Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness. Adopted cats and kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier, no cardboard boxes.

Our adoption application can be found at https://form.jotform.com/200017468978059. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Please email us at sccadopt@gmail.com for more information

Please note that this cat or kitten may have an adoption application pending. Adoptable pet listings are not removed until the adoption has been finalized. Pets are removed from the adoptable list as soon as possible after adoption.
