Dahlia's Story

Meet sweet Dahlia....she is a total sweetheart and has come such a long way in a few months. She was totally shut down at first but now comes out of hiding and participates in life. She loves to be petted and also likes to do her own thing. She does best in a home without other cats, although will tolerate another cat as long as it is willing to leave her alone. She would love to be a companion to someone who just needs a feline friend. She likes to come to bed with her human friend every night, insist on getting her lovings, and cannot wait to trust her new person. Please give this 6 year old princess a chance...she has earned it...she has gone from being shut down to now being willing to give people a chance again. Are you the person she is willing to trust forever?

Our cats are located in Foster homes and raised as part of our family. If interested in adopting from Fixing for the Future, please submit an application and someone will get back to you. Our rescue kitties are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed and given monthly flea and tick prevention.
