Dahlia's Story

Dahlia
Short Hair Orange Spayed Female
Estimated Birthday: 8/9/2017

Meet sweet, gentle Dahlia! This beautiful ginger is ready for a fresh new start with a family that has a lot love to share. She was recently returned to Tigerlily because her family could no longer care for her. She is affectionate and calm, and also enjoys interactive play time and has her spurts of energy. She enjoys having her family's undivided attention and would be best as your only cat. She may get along with a calmer dog that gives her plenty of space. Slow introductions would be also important with any children that understand how to give cats their space.

Dahlia is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Fill out our online application to get approved for a meet and greet:
http://www.tigerlilyrescue.com/adoption-application/

Tigerlily Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old. * If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed. * We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family. * For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best. * If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time. * We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child. Our adoption fee of $125 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
