Dagger (Neutered) (Photos July 4th 2026)

Dagger is a cute 7-week old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 14, 2026 along with his two sisters (Katana and Saber) after they were found by themselves (with no mother in sight) on Miles Avenue in the Little Hocking Ohio area. <br/><br/>Dagger has a brown tabby short-haired coat with a large patch of white on his chest/belly, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers.<br/><br/>Dagger has a happy, playful personality and loves sharing a double-wide cage with his little sisters. These 'three mouseketeers' romp/play together and snuggle up with each other for multiple cat naps during the day.<br/><br/>Dagger weighed 1.4 lbs when he entered our shelter on May 14th. He was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 19th 2026. Dagger was given booster vaccines on June 3rd and June 27th 2026. He weighed 3.3 lbs on June 27th.<br/><br/>These photos of Dagger were taken on July 4th when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn Moore spent time with Dagger in our 'studio' for his 'big boy' pictures. Dagger discovered a tiny toy purple mouse and spent most of his out-of-cage time playing/batting the mouse around. His facial expressions and stance when he was about to 'pounce' were priceless!<br/><br/>Dagger was neutered on July 6th 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 3.13 lbs that day.<br/><br/>Dagger was adopted on July 7th 2026. <br/><br/>His sisters (Katana and Saber) are continuing their playtime as a 'two-some', and they will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on August 3rd). Naturally we'd love to see them adoption together.
