What is Centralia Humane Society’s adoption process?

We require an application process for anyone wanting to adopt on of our pets. We check to make sure all of your current/past pets were up-to-date on their vaccines and if they're canines, they're on monthly heartworm preventative. We realize that some may think this is too strict - however, we have seen the tragedies that not doing these things can cause and therefore want the very best for our animals. We treat our adoption process like children's adoption. Because these pets were someone's once, and they would want them to be well cared for in a loving home, and that is what we strive to do.

What is Dab’s adoption fee?

Is Dab good with kids?

Dab is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Dab good with other animals?

Dab is good with other cats. Dab is not good with dogs.

When can I meet Dab?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Dab?
