Cynthia's Story

Hello, I'm Cynthia. I may be an adult, but I've got the heart of a kitten. I cherish my independence, yet I've got a sweet side that longs for a companion. I'm loyal to a fault, always there when you need a friend. I'm friendly and smart, but don't worry, I won't outsmart you! I'm mellow and gentle, preferring quiet moments over loud noises. I'm brave, but not reckless. I love to be pet, it's my favorite pastime. Why should you adopt me? Because I'm not just a cat, I'm a friend, a confidante, a companion. I promise to fill your life with purrs and unconditional love.

Cat Life Maine, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
What to know: We’re foster-based. We do not have a public shelter. Cats are in private foster homes. Meet & greets are by appointment only. Apply first. Fill out our Adoption Application and tell us about your home, other pets, and what you’re looking for. This helps us match you. We’re volunteers. We try to call quickly, but sometimes we’re trapping, at clinic, working our day jobs, or transporting. Adoption fees help cover only a small portion of spay/neuter, vaccines, testing, microchips, and more. All cats/kittens are spayed/neutered (when old enough), microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines before leaving our care. Medical notes will be disclosed.
