Our Mission
Cat Life Maine Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Maine. Our mission is to improve the lives of stray, feral and community cats of Maine by providing sanctuary, fostering, advocating, assisting with vaccination, spaying/neutering programs, education, and more. Run solely by our director and volunteers, we help overpopulated cat communities, neonatal kittens, pet owners and more. We work hard with community members to make sure we are doing everything we can to help.
Adoption Policy
We have them fill out an application that asks about the other pets and family members in the home. We also ask for veterinarian and personal references, that we call and check to verify. We also check with the landlords if they rent to verifiy that they are allowed to have pets and that the landlord is aware they are getting one. .
