Each cat has their own separate adoption fee.* THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.*<br/><br/>Cushion and her brother, Fish, came to Baltimore, MD from West Virginia, where they were orphaned at just 3 days old. They were bottle-fed and raised in a home environment. That early socialization has made them easy-going and quick to adapt to new situations. Cushion is the more cautious of the two and may prefer to watch new people from another room for a few minutes. However, it doesn’t take her long to approach and try to make a new friend.<br/>Cuddly, huggable Cushion is gorgeous and especially affectionate! Willowy and petite, she has a warm, gentle disposition and a heart of gold. Cushion adores being petted and held and will climb up into your lap. If that doesn't get her any pets, she will put her paws on your shoulders, laying on your chest so she can make eye contact. ...And if THAT doesn't work, she pulls out all the stops and licks your nose. That always works. When things are quiet, she will nap nearby so she can check in on what you are getting up to throughout the day. <br/>"Cush" is bright-eyed and always ready for fun-- she jumps on the bed when the alarm goes off and helps us rise and shine. She is quite the athlete, tearing around after a string or feather, making hairpin turns, and leaping up to the top level of her cat tree. She easily out-runs and out-jumps her rotund little brother, Fish. It is important that Cushion's adopter(s) plan to spend time playing active games with her and her brother. These activities really help them bond with new people and build the confidence they need to be their outgoing selves in a new home.<br/>Fish and Cushion are best friends; they love to wrestle and keep each other busy all day, so they must be adopted together. They get along well with other cats and have forged very close bonds with my resident cats. Cush is more passive and accepting, but if there is a good opportunity to sneak up and pounce on Fish, she won't hesitate! They have never met a dog but would probably take it in stride and warm up to a friendly dog.
