Curry's Story

Curry is a sweet orange tabby cat. Her birthday is August 11, 2021. She spent most of her life being an emotional support animal, but unfortunately her owner needed to move long distance, and couldn't afford the moving expenses to bring Curry with.

Curry loves affection. She loves to sit in laps, to be petted, and to sit in a sunny window to bird watch in the summer. She loves chase-type toys and has shown herself to be an avid hunter when given the opportunity... as such she needs a home that doesn't have small pets (hamsters, chinchillas, etc). She doesn't mind being brushed or getting her nails trimmed and is good about using the litter box and scratching posts.

While Curry has been fantastic with dogs and kids, she is very picky about which cats she likes, so we are looking for a home where she will be the only cat.

She is spayed and microchipped, but needs additional medical care before she can be adopted. Silver Dragon Pets's Adoption Policy
If you've fallen in love with one of our adoptable animals, please fill out and email an application (available on our website)! We do require a veterinary reference, and a copy of your lease or rental if you do not own your home, to make sure pets are welcome. Please allow us up to one week to confirm your references and see if you are a suitable match for the pet you've chosen. If you match, we will proceed with an in-person meeting so you can meet the animal and get to know them. Sometimes it's an instant match, and sometimes personalities may clash. This is also a wonderful time for your other pets to meet on neutral ground to see if they get along. If your face-to-face meeting works out and everything looks good, you will be asked to sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. If the animal is ready to go, he or she can go home with you right away. If we're still waiting on further veterinary care (animals undergoing more extensive medical care, or those with pending spay/neuter surgery appointments), we will bring the animal back to his/her foster home until they are cleared for adoption, at which time they can go home with you. Puppies and kittens adopted before six months old will require a (refundable) deposit, which will be refunded when proof of spay or neuter is provided prior to the age of seven months, and microchip has been registered to the new owner. This deposit is $50 for kittens and $100 for puppies. This is paid in addition to the adoption fee. All kittens and puppies 12 weeks or over will receive a rabies vaccination prior to adoption. All cats and dogs are microchipped prior to adoption, regardless of age.
