Cuff's Story

This handsome boy has come such a long way since arriving with us frightened and unsure of the world around him. While he may still be nervous around loud noises and sudden movements, once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through!! He loves to be by his person and when he relaxes by you his purr sounds just like a motor running to let you know he feels safe and happy. <br/><br/>He has been doing great with foster kids ages 15, 12, and 9. He would do best in a quieter home where he can continue gaining confidence and enjoy all the love he deserves!<br/><br/>All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.<br/><br/>If you are interested in Cuff, please submit an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/

Carver-Scott Humane Society's Adoption Policy
At the Carver Scott Humane Society, we follow an Adopter's Welcome philosophy. This means that instead of an overwhelming application process, home visits, and hoop jumping, we take a conversational approach to our adoptions. Our goal is to make adoptions possible and help you be a successful pet parent! Once an application is submitted, we take applications as "first-come, first-considered." While this does not guarantee that the first applicant will adopt the animal of their choice, it does guarantee that we will process the application all the way through before moving on to the next application in line. If you see an animal you are interested in, please apply as soon as possible! This does not obligate you to the animal in case you change your mind, but may assist in securing your place in line for that animal.
