Cricket's Story

Cricket came to LFFAC through a transfer from a Colorado shelter where she and her sister were destined to be barn cats. However, we felt that since they had been in a shelter’s care and through an unsuccessful indoor adoption placement starting at eight weeks old and hadn’t learned skills to survive outdoors, they should be socialized to and placed in a home with a human family. Cricket was initially highly fearful of people. However, after spending time with our volunteers who love and play to socialize cats like her, Cricket learned to ask for and thrive on human attention. She’s a love bug who enjoys being petted and playing with her human friends. As a single cat, Cricket needs a human companion or family with time to spend with her and let her know what a special girl she is.

Cricket is an "alpha" cat and gets along with some cats, but not all. She would do well in a home with older children.
