Creedence's Story

Creedence is a beautiful 10-month-old girl with a gentle spirit and a quietly playful heart. While she may be a little shy at first, this curious kitty is always watching, learning, and slowly building her confidence. In new environments, she tends to find a cozy hiding spot where she can observe the world at her own pace—but give her a little time (and ideally a feline friend), and you’ll start to see her sweet personality shine through.

Creedence truly blossoms around other cats. She is especially close to Susie Q. She takes comfort in the presence of other cats and loves to follow their lead, often mimicking their play and behavior as she gains confidence. She’s especially fond of chasing balls and batting at wand toys or strings, and once she’s feeling safe, her playful side comes to life in the most endearing way. She may even gently tap you with her paw to ask for attention or invite you to play—her own quiet way of reaching out.

Because she is still learning to trust, Creedence can be a bit skittish and isn’t yet comfortable being held or handled for long periods. She’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter who will let her set the pace and continue building her confidence. A calm home with another friendly, confident cat would be ideal for helping her feel secure and continue to grow.

Creedence lost her home when her owner had to move and couldn’t take his cats, but she hasn’t lost her capacity to love—she just needs someone willing to meet her where she is. With time, kindness, and companionship, this sweet girl will reward you with her gentle affection, playful spirit, and the quiet joy of watching her truly come out of her shell.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
