Cranberry - Available from Foster's Story

Meet Cranberry!

Cranberry came into our care as a community stray, carrying a past we'll never fully know. What has become clear is that she's a gentle, sensitive soul who has been quietly blossoming in foster care. Once content to observe the world from a cozy, tucked-away spot, she now shows her growing trust through slow blinks, sweet stretches in her favorite bed, and the softest little biscuits when she's feeling safe.

In her foster home, Cranberry has opened up significantly and is now allowing gentle petting, carefully engaging in play, and even forming a sweet bond with her foster's friendly resident cat. Cranberry clearly enjoys the company, showing increased confidence and playfulness when another cat is nearby. She's proven to be very food-motivated and shows her playful, friendly side during active parts of the day especially when she's sharing space with her feline friend. Though still sensitive and continuing to build confidence with people, her progress has been steady and incredibly encouraging.

Cranberry will thrive in a quiet, patient home with predictable routines and plenty of time to adjust. A friendly resident cat would be a wonderful match for her future, helping her feel secure as she continues to come out of her shell. For someone who finds joy in gentle companionship and the reward of watching a once-shy cat grow more confident each day, Cranberry could be the purrfect fit.

Dogs: Cranberry has no known experience with dogs.
Cats: Cranberry would thrive in a home with a feline friend!
Children: Cranberry has no known experience with children.

Cranberry is available from an HSCC foster home.
