Cranberry’s FAQs

What is Duke Memorial~Redwood Area Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

Hello, and thank you for your interest in giving one of our pets a home! If you are interested in adopting a new family member, you can call the shelter for more information at 507-644-3853, or else stop in to meet any of the animals by appointment only. Before a pet can go home, you will need to fill out an adoption application for approval (see the attached link, or else go to our website: http://redwoodareaanimalshelter.com/ ) If you are renting, please note that we will require some kind of proof that you are allowed to have a pet. Once approved, there is an adoption fee that needs to be paid before the pet can go home. These fees help offset the cost of each pet's care. We do not take credit/debit cards at this time, so you will need to come prepared to pay with a check or cash. If you have any questions, feel free to call!
