Coy's Story

Coy is a female, Dilute Tortoiseshell/Domestic Long Hair cat. Her estimated date of birth is July 20, 2025. Coy is a beautiful lady with a gentle soul and a quiet charm. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she quickly starts to blossom and seek out affection from the people she trusts. While being picked up still makes her a bit unsure, she absolutely loves pets and attention and is learning that close human interaction can be safe and comforting.

Coy has previously enjoyed having a young feline companion and would likely do well in a home with another calm, friendly cat whose energy level matches her own. Dogs are not her thing, so she would be happiest in a dog-free home. She has not yet been tested with young children.

During a recent stay in the cat condo at the ARF House, Coy handled the busy environment surprisingly well, even with the sounds of dogs nearby. With continued socialization, lots of love, and perhaps a gentle kitty friend, Coy has all the potential to grow into a playful, loving, and loyal companion.

Coy is fully vetted and has an adoption fee of $90. You can apply online for her at https://arftulsa.wufoo.com/forms/arf-cat-adoption-application/ PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO APPLYING.

Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. We do not ship our animals. All adopters are expected to come to Tulsa if approved.

For details on how to adopt please visit http://www.arftulsa.org/adopt.

[Tulsa, OK]

Our Mission
For more than 25 years, ARF has been helping homeless pets of the Tulsa area find loving homes. We do this by rescuing homeless animals out of area shelters that were possibly in line for euthanasia, placing them in foster homes, providing their comprehensive veterinary care, and finding suitable adoptive homes.
