Covie's Story

Hello! My name is Covie. I'm the elusive female, orange cat. I don't mean to brag, but I'm quite literally the most perfect cat to ever exist. I am looking for a second chance at love and happiness.

Favorite things? I love fresh air and sunshine. If you have a screened in porch, or catio, I'll be your best friend for life. My foster mom keeps saying I may enjoy being in a harness and going outside. Meanwhile, I'll settle for a beautiful, spring day and an open window.

My foster home has two calm, gentle senior cats, and I get along great with them. I even give them little nose boops sometimes. I'd probably do best in a home with other calm, friendly cats, or as the only cat. I might be okay with a mellow dog too-as long as they're polite and don't think I'm a squeaky toy. I'd also love a home with kids who understand and respect my boundaries.

Churus are my absolute favorite treat. I'm still figuring out this whole "lap cat" thing, so I'll need a family who's patient with me and willing to keep the tasty rewards coming while I learn. My foster mom keeps giving me these "kissies" on my face. I'm not sure if it is a good thing or bad thing. I try to give her the side eye, but I don't think it's working. She also keeps insisting on scooping me like a baby. I was skeptical at first, but she keeps telling me I'll like it. I'm still not convinced, but willing to give it a shot.

If you are looking for a sweet, sassy, and chatty little girl, then here I am! I am ready to supply you with endless amounts of cuteness. If I REALLY like you then you'll get to see me tap my little toes. Thanks for reading!

To learn more about Covie, please complete an adoption application.
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BKB-A-454

The adoption fee for an adult cat is $200.

For more information about adopting a Bitty Kitty: https://bittykittybrigade.org/adopt/
