Meet Courage — Small boy, big bravery. EXCELLENT posture.<br/><br/>Courage came to us with his brothers Hero and Trooper from a terrible feral situation where the kittens were extremely sick. These little guys had a rough beginning and had to fight much harder than any kitten ever should.<br/><br/>But Courage did exactly what his name suggests.<br/><br/>He was brave.<br/><br/>He fought through being sick, got stronger, and came out the other side ready to begin the life he was always supposed to have.<br/><br/>And apparently somewhere during his recovery, Courage also developed an enormous sense of personal accomplishment.<br/><br/>Because LOOK AT HIM.<br/><br/>The straight back.<br/>The chest out.<br/>The paws perfectly positioned.<br/>The tiny chin held high.<br/><br/>This man is PROUD.<br/><br/>"Pardon me, do you have any grey Poupon?" The author of this article is angry he isn't wearing a bow tie....<br/><br/>Courage doesn't sit.<br/><br/>Courage poses for his official portrait.<br/><br/>He looks like he's waiting for someone to announce:<br/><br/>"For extraordinary bravery in the face of adversity, we hereby present Sir Courage with the Medal of Exceptional Kittenhood."<br/><br/>And Courage would just give a solemn little nod like:<br/><br/>"I accept this honor on behalf of my people."<br/><br/>Meanwhile, his people are Hero and Trooper.<br/><br/>One is a professional supervisor.<br/><br/>The other is apparently an exotic dancer.<br/><br/>It's been a complicated family journey.<br/><br/>Courage is sweet, playful, curious, and now thoroughly enjoying all the wonderful things that come with being a healthy kitten.
