Meet Cougar -- A Young Adult Looking for the Love She Deserves<br/><br/>Cougar came to us from a neighboring shelter that was overcrowded and facing heartbreaking decisions. With so many animals coming in and not enough space, they were preparing to euthanize to make room. Thankfully, we were able to step in, save Cougar's life, and bring her safely to our shelter.<br/><br/>Cougar is a young adult--probably between and year and two years. Even though she's beautiful and sweet, she hasn't had much interest simply because she's not a kitten. Many people come in looking for tiny, bouncy babies, but adopting an adult cat has so many perks. Adult cats usually skip the nighttime zoomies, sleep a bit later, settle down earlier, and are perfectly content to curl up beside you while you watch TV. They still enjoy playtime and little moments of silliness--but only as long as they want. They won't wear you out!<br/><br/>Cougar is exactly this kind of companion--calm, affectionate, warm, and ready to bond deeply with her forever family.
