Cosmos - Male DOB 1/6/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black<br/><br/>Cosmos is a sweet and a little shy black panther kitten who’s gaining confidence every day. He’s recently started venturing out more in the rescue’s larger main room, curious to explore new sights and smells. At first, Cosmos might flinch when a hand reaches toward him, but once he realizes you’re gentle and kind, he quickly relaxes and lets the purring begin. He will now come up to you and look up at you with his faint little cry wanting you to reach down and pet him. He loves to rub up against your hand and quietly “talk” to you, asking for more pets and attention. He is too skiddish to be picked up right now, but he is happy just being on the floor or on a soft bed getting his pets.<br/><br/>Cosmos doesn't seem to care about being around other cats and if he's getting petted or played with, will sometimes reach out and whack at others, but there may be too many kitties around him which causes him some stress. He seems to prefer to be your only kitty and would prefer a calm environment without dogs or small children, so he can keep building trust and feel safe at his own pace.
