Cornflake and Cheerio - WAIVED ADOPTION FEE's Story

Cornflake and Cheerio the *cereal boys* are pleased to make your acquaintance! Both of these friendly boys were found as a strays and then surrendered to our vet clinic. They are great dynamic duo! Cornflake and Cheerio are neutered and microchipped, and have their bags packed and ready to go! Please read on for their story, and to find out how to add him then your family!

Here is what we know about CORNFLAKE and CHEERIO :

- We don't really know much about Cornflake's background, so breed/age is just a best guess. He is @ 6 years old, and weighs @ 16lbs. Cheerio is @ 3 years old, and weighs 16lbs as well. Both boys are super affectionate and love to be carried around.

- Both boys are neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and are feline leukemia negative. Both did test positive for feline AIDS so a family who is familiar with this condition (and understands that it needs no treatment and isn't contagious to people) would be ideal. Cornflake and Cheerio both have a great personality and would certainly enhance any household!

- Cornflake and Cheerio were found as a strays and have been living in foster care since being surrendered to our vet clinic a few months ago. Both are doing really well! Cheerio's eye was injured beyond repair and our vet removed it, but he has no lasting effects and it healed perfectly.

- Due to their feline AIDS positive test, Cornflake and Cheerio should either be the only cats, or share a home with other kitties who have tested positive for feline AIDS as well.

- Cornflake and Cheerio have been exposed to dogs in their foster home and have done fine with them. We think both would do fine with a nice dog who can respect kitty boundaries and wouldn't chase them.

- Cornflake and Cheerio haven't been exposed to young children and therefore would likely do best with kids 5+ who know how to respect kitty boundaries.

What we love about Cornflake and Cheerio: They are really special dynamic duo with lots of love to give!

Are Cornflake and Cheerio the ones for you? If so, they have their bags packed and are ready to make their way home to you!

Their adoption fee has been waived in hopes of getting them into their new home quickly! Just pay their $200 transport fee!

If interested, please reach out to Brittany @ Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link!

*Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
