Cornelia's Story

AGE: 1 year
WEIGHT: 8 lbs

Cornelia is a beautiful 1-year-old female. We found her in a live trap near the rescue after we were trying to trap another cat. Not knowing how she would adapt to living inside, we went ahead and spayed and vaccinated her. Since being with us, Cornelia has had a wonderful transformation. At first, she was very nervous around people, always wanting to hide and be by herself, but after just a few weeks, she started opening up and we got to see who she really is. She loves pets and attention now, and she is a professional at making biscuits! She enjoys cuddling with her friend, Ethan, and finding cozy spots to take naps. She also seems to get along well with other cats. She likes people, she just needs a little time to warm up.

Cornelia is a very chill girl who loves being pet and making biscuits on a comfy bed or blanket. After being a stray cat, she has realized the joys of inside life and enjoys wet food and taking cozy naps. She has been given a clean bill of health.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting this sweet girl, reach out to us over email at info@colbertvetrescue.org, or give us a call at 706-548-2233. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-5 and you are welcome to stop by and meet her!

If you would like to donate to Cornelia’s medical bills/food costs, our venmo is @Colbert-vetrescue.
