Corey's Story

Meet Corey! Now here is a cat full of potential. He has been with our rescue for maybe a year now, and that's a year off the streets for this lovely little guy. Corey did not have the socialization around humans that most kitties need to be outgoing and friendly companions, but we know he will learn over time that humans aren't so scary after all. Indeed he has made great strides already, our volunteers are working on getting him used to being pet and interacted with. Socializing a timid cat is truly a long-term, rewarding experience, we know the effort is worth it!

Corey is very friendly around other cats, and unafraid of being out in the open when all the human activity has moved elsewhere. We look forward to seeing him placed in a patient home with lots of comfy spots for him to curl up.
