CORALINE 's Story

Summer is here! Warmer weather is here and so are lots of kittens and older cats that need homes! Please consider adopting- especially some of our older residents! Maybe even two kittens or cats? Remember every cat you adopt actually saves TWO cats lives and help countless more cats & kittens! When you adopt one cat, it makes room to save another! Win! Win! The kitties thank you too!

This is Coraline!
Coraline is domestic short haired black minipanther, spayed female, up to date on her shots, around 3 years old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland Northwest Indiana.

Hi! My name is Coraline and I am sooo happy to meet you!
I love to purr all the time now, but I havent always had a reason to purr. I came from a very sad situation with too many kitties.
I wont let my past define me because Im too busy celebrating my future! I just know I'm on my way to having the best life ever and the only thing missing is a family of my own!
If you look at my photos, youll notice one of my eyes is a little different from the other. My eyelashes were irritating one of my eyes and I had to have surgery to correct it. I'm 100% fine now, but it made one eye a little different than the other. I don't care though! I think it just makes me a little cuter!
Now that Im safe at the shelter, I love rolling around and stretching out! I love to show off my belly while playing with my toys or just stretch out my legs too! Im so grateful to be warm, fed, and safe! I already feel like a loved kitty, but Im dreaming of having a person all to myself to love! I promise I don't need much, just some love, good food, and lots of pets!
Im officially ready for meet and greets! I have my very own 'room' at the shelter where we can visit and get to know each other. I get along with other kitties (with a proper introduction) so if you already have a kitty we could be friends! Older gentle kids are probably just fine, but Im not quite sure about dogs yet. Let me know if you have any other questions, but I'm ready to go! Ive got my bags packed and Im ready for my forever home!

If youre looking for a sweet, happy go lucky kitty who will brighten your day, please give Coraline a chance to be your best friend! Make an appointment to meet her, she would love it! Please call 219-922-1766 and leave a message to meet Coraline. Also, please fill out an adoption application which can be found online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org or follow the link from our profile at Petfinder (scroll all the way down to the bottom of the main page)
****************************************
Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't normally get a chance at getting a forever home, a chance! Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them no one will hurt them. However, when they go to a new home, some kitties will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner and have patience.
Thank you!
