Cooper's Story
Meet Cooper!

Cooper is a furry orange-and-white tabby whose cuteness is only matched by the sweetness hiding under his shy exterior. He came to us through a partner rescue after being part of an outdoor colony, so human interaction is still something he's learning to trust. In foster, he has made incredible strides. He enjoys gentle pets, cozy "purrito" cuddles, and the predictability of a calm home. Still, Cooper needs a patient adopter who understands that he'll likely act like he doesn't love you at first (he absolutely does-he just won't admit it yet). He thrives with people who can give him time, consistency, and soft encouragement as he continues building confidence.

Other cats are Cooper's favorite source of comfort, and he must have a feline friend in his new home to help him feel safe and social. A friendly resident cat will show him the ropes, help him settle in, and bring out his playful side. Cooper may never be the boldest cat in the room, but he has a quiet, gentle charm that grows stronger each day. Once he feels secure, he shows a tender, affectionate side that makes every bit of patience worth it. Cooper is ready for a family willing to love him at his pace and celebrate every step of his journey.

Cooper will be ready to go home after 1/14.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and is microchipped.

Adoption application:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/KYAT/Cat

Many of our animals are pre-approved for adoption before and never make an appearance on Petfinder, so follow us on social media for information on additional animals that are adoptable or soon-to-be adoptable at:

https://m.facebook.com/kyanimaltales/

Instagram: @kyanimaltales
