Cooper's Story

Hi, I'm Cooper! I'm a sophisticated older gentleman who is looking for a forever home. I'm currently in foster care, and my foster has lots of nice things to say about me!<br/><br/>"He has adjusted nicely to my home and is a good boy. I brush him often and also have a small massager - he absolutely loves both! He's not very vocal - meowed once or twice at feeding time. When he has had enough attention, he will gently swat as though to say, "I'm done for now!" He is a little chunky, but he does enjoy getting some exercise through playtime. He plays with feather toys, and I do play hide the mouse toy which he occasionally enjoys. Cooper spends hours looking out my patio window. He often falls asleep there. He is a calm boy who likes quiet, and he has been a wonderful houseguest!"<br/><br/>I sound like I would make an amazing addition to a quiet household looking to add a loving and devoted friend. If I sound like the guy you've been looking for, apply to meet me today!<br/><br/>Special Requirements: Quiet home, would do best as only pet

West Suburban Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Dog and cat adoptions are the foundation of our mission and the services we offer. After more than 48 years of helping find compatible and loving homes for the animals in our care, we still have a lot more to do. There are thousands of homeless animals in the Chicagoland area waiting to find homes. We hope that you will take the time to learn more about our adoption process and consider adopting one of our current residents. WSHS does its best to match adopters with the dog or cat that would be best suited to their family situation and lifestyle.
