COOPER's Story

COOPER is an adorable BLACK DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR kitten. He is 5.5 months old, neutered, current on vaccinations, has his claws and is microchipped.<br/><br/>Cooper did test positive for FIV, so he should be adopted to a family as an only kitten, with another FIV+ cat or with another non-aggressive kitten (like one of his current foster friends). He has not been around dogs, so a home with no dogs is preferred.<br/><br/>Cooper is a very special guy who his foster mom has fallen in love with. He loves people and other animals! He follows around his foster mom and sleeps with her at night. Being a kitten, he is very playful and has lots of energy. He loves playing with his kitten friends and older cats alike.<br/><br/>Cooper is great with his litterbox. He eats both wet and dry food. Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
