Cookie (Monster)

Cookie (Monster) is a domestic short haired neutered male solid black cat with an approximate birth date of the first week of May 2023. Cookie is the brother to Cream, and these 2 boys had a very rough start in life shortly after birth. The inattentive and ignorant human mother of the household allowed her 3 toddlers under the age of 5 to take the newborn kittens away from their cat mother shortly after birth and carry them around the home. Momma cat was frantic and following the toddlers around wanting her babies back. By the time an experienced cat parent arrived on scene to rescue momma cat and the 4 kittens, these kittens were barely alive, cold to the touch, and hadn't nursed on mom in 24 hours. One kitten died while the cat rescuer was loading the family into her vehicle, and 2 other kittens died within hours after leaving the home of toddler chaos. This left Cookie as the only survivor from the litter. Then 2 days later, momma cat gave birth to 1 more kitten, Cream, who was born with a gray coat that turned gradually into his black tuxedo coat coloring.<br/><br/>Cookie's brother Cream has been adopted, and Cookie would love to find his furever home with anther feline or canine buddy. They are being fostered in a home with other cats, 2 mellow, low-key dogs, and tween children. Please no homes with children under the age of 8 unless they are properly supervised and taught how to handle cats properly and with care.<br/><br/>Neutered; litter box trained; and up to date on vaccinations.
