Cookie's Story

We think Cookie was born around 13 March. She and her siblings were found in a barn on a cold, rainy spring day. Cookie is the most timid of all her siblings. She will snuggle with her foster after some coaxing, but is nervous around sudden movements and when meeting new people. She is a quiet, gentle kitten, who is closest to her brother Biscuit and would be happiest adopted with him to give her some courage. We think she would do best in a quiet home, without young children or dogs. Cookie will be able to go to her forever home after she is three months old, around mid-June.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
