I am looking for a home with a patient person.<br/>I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.<br/>I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.<br/><br/>Meet Confetti!<br/><br/>She may not be the life of the party, but Confetti still brings joy to those who take the time to get to know her. This reserved and demure kitty needs a patient, understanding adopter who understands feline behavior & body language as she came to us from a home with too many cats and not enough humans. With treats, toys, and positive reinforcement, she can grow to learn that people are worth being around. She has already shown signs in shelter that she could be open to making friends, so why not come to SIACC and say hi to Confetti?<br/><br/>A volunteer writes: Confetti has been waiting months for someone to notice her, even if she doesn't know what to make of them when they do. Coming to us from a home with many other cats, her confusion at finding herself here seems to have extended to the day to day of shelter life. Confetti notices the treats and toys we leave her and then stretches out in response. She sometimes sees us trying to win her favor and will accept pets from our scratcher tool and engage with a feather want. We don't have much information about her life before, but Confetti's determination to live her life on her own terms is admirable, if not always the perfect opening for making a new friend. She's hoping to find a family who will meet her where she is and love her for who she is.
