Compass's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

If you’re looking for a friendly, easy-going girl who’s happiest just being curled up beside you, Compass could be your girl! At just two years old, Compass has a lovely laid-back personality and just LOVES people. She’ll greet you by rubbing against your legs, then happily settle on your lap or chest while you relax. She loves to cuddle and be close, though she’d much rather climb onto you herself than be picked up. When she’s not keeping you company, Compass enjoys lounging in a cozy cat bed, batting away at her interactive play mat, and chasing a good piece of string. She’s definitely got her preferences, too - dry food gets her vote although she is starting to enjoy more wet, while laser toys are very much a “no thanks”. Compass does not get along with other cats and MUST be the only cat in your home. She doesn’t want to share you with anyone else and wants the lap all to herself!

Compass originally came to us as a stray with her kittens. She was adopted, but sadly returned a year later because she was too “needy”! All she wanted was love and attention, so now we will find her a new home at last where she will get all that and more!

Friendly, quiet and wonderfully easy-going, Compass would love a home where she can enjoy good company, cozy spots and plenty of lap time with her favourite people.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
