Alias: Commissary (The Brawn of the Operation) ​Commissary, a notorioue member of 'The Jailbirds' crew who recently flew the coop in New Mexico and made a high-speed escape is now laying low in Denver waiting for a permanent hideout.​While his sister Shank was the brains of the operation, Commissary was definitely the brawn. He used his larger physique to help muscle the crew out of lockup! But don't let his tough-guy role fool you—this big boy is an absolute softie.​Commissary is not shy about asking for love. He will quickly settle into any available lap and reward you with a purr that is just as big as his body. He’s a world-class snuggler, but he still has plenty of playful kitten energy. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!<br/><br/>$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.<br/>$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
