Colin Furth's Story

Colin Furth is a 3 year old male who had a rough life outside until we rescued him, He very much seemed like a neglected, dumped pet who needed help, and so we trapped him, brought him inside and got him the medical care he needed. When we rescued him he had a terrible wound on the left side of his face near his eye, from fighting, which has now healed up and left him a little scarred. We then discovered that he was a friendly teddy bear who didn't belong outside.

He is Felv/fiv negative, healthy, neutered and vaccinated. He is still making progress with socialization and best with an adopter who understands cat language. He is softening up every day, on his way to lap cat status but not there yet, lap-adjacent. He is fine with other cats. Lazy and low maintenance. He is playful, very chirpy, LOVES food, but otherwise very low needs and independent. Colin would make a wonderful companion to someone who wants to give a beat-up former street cat a warm, loving home.
